Introduction
Ice, part of "water", but also related to death, may be one of the most life-threatening subjects, yet in the form of snow, it can yield an immense and sublime beauty, a white bringer of death, and a playground also for life, for light and shadow, laying bare a cold and stiff and dehydrated vegetation, and in the form of snow, bringing pleasure to those sharing the luxury of a warm home and a meal.
This is a place for both romantic imagery and kitsch, as well as for the portrayal of the ice-cold deadly spell laid upon Earth in winter time.
The series has been started in 2000, the pictures have been taken with a pretty ordinary camera, no fancy stuff.
